What’s in a name?

Holy Virus Ministries name come into being in the late 1990’s.  We were with a traditional start-up church in Nebraska and God gave us the name Holy Virus Ministries.  The start-up church wanted a more traditional name but the Holy Virus Ministries name stayed with me and my wife and we knew we were meant to use it in the future.

When we lived in Nebraska we went to a real barn, on a farm, and experienced this type of ministry and are now offering it here in Albuquerque New Mexico.  There were nights when the majority of the people attending were in need of healing and other prayers, or just a touch from God, so they got prayed for. Other nights, we spent hours in the Lords presence just enjoying being in his presence just talking and sharing.  The gift of Prophecy was strong there in our ever changing group, so they facilitated that and others in find their gifting or just gave them words from the Holy Ghost.  People sang in the spirit while others danced and others were prone on the floor just enjoying spending time with God.  There have been times when this has happened all in one night.  Once again we do not plan out anything that happens at our Friday night gathering.  We go with the flow.
